Cleo's Obituary
Cleo's life began on April 26, 1914 in Atwood, IN, the daughter of John and Prudence (Murphy) Huffman. She was united in marriage to Richard Randolph Reynolds on February 9, 1933 in Milford, IN. Cleo was employed by Hales Hardware for over 30 years. She and her husband owned and operated Reynolds Radio and Television Sales in Dowagiac. They sold the first television in Dowagiac in 1946. Cleo was a member of the Federated Covenant Church and member of the church choir for over 56 years. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star # 63 in Dowagiac. Cleo belonged to the Pegerettes, the Antlerettes, the PTA and the Dowagiac Band Parents organization. Her greatest joy was her loving family which includes her daughters Connie (Ronald) Moore of Plano, TX, Pat (Clyde) Boggus of Ashland, TN, Dorothe (Eddie) Howard of Dowagiac, Debbe (Robert) Burling of Dowagiac and her son William Reynolds of Parma, MI. her grandchildren Thad Moore, Brandon Reynolds, Lainie Lape, Sabrina Hall, James Howard, Victoria Treadway, Jason Boggus, Duane Van't Zelfde, Don Van't Zelfde, Lee Van't Zelfde, Diane Barnett, Lynette Van't Zelfde, Jeanna Younger, Heather Burling, Richard Burling and Denice Burling, 25 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Cleo passed away at her home on Monday April 12, 2010. She is preceded in death by her husband Richard in 1976, daughter Lucienne Van't Zelfde in 1972 and a sister Gladys Brant. Cleo's family will gather with friends on Thursday from 5-8 p.m. at Yazel & Clark Chapel where her funeral service will be held on Friday at 11 a.m., led by Pastors Rob and Jen Lowe of the Federated Covenant Church. She will be laid to rest in Riverside Cemetery. Memorial contributions in her name may be directed to Federated Covenant Church.
