Stephen F Coffey

Steve's life began on April 19, 1954 in Dowagiac, the son of Paul T. and Jeannette (Graziano) Coffey. He was a 1972 graduate of Dowagiac Union High School. Steve was united in marriage to the former Louise Wilson, on September 11, 1976 in Cassopolis. Steve had worked for Franklin and Sons in Dowagiac. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and was an avid golfer. His greatest joy was his family which includes his wife Louise Coffey of Dowagiac, daughter Melissa Coffey of Naples, FL, sister Pat (Patrick) Murphy of Sister Lakes, brothers Dr. John (Priscilla) Coffey of Exeter, CA, Michael (Robin) Coffey of Dowagiac, and Thomas (Kerri) Coffey of Libertyville, IL and several nieces and nephews. Steve passed away at his home on Sunday March 28, 2010. He is preceded in death by his parents. Steve's family will gather with friends on Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. at Yazel & Clark Chapel where his funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. led by Pastor Stacy Wilder of Calvary Bible Church. Steve will be laid to rest in Riverside Cemetery. Memorial contributions in his name may be directed to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
