Gabriel Chase Wallace

Gabriel was born in Niles, the son of Robert and Veronica (Wisniewski) Wallace on June 23, 2006. He was a very happy little boy. His smile could light up any room. He was the most amazing gift in his parent's life. He had a love for Sponge Bob. Gabriel will be greatly missed and forever loved. He is survived by his parents Robert and Veronica Wallace of Dowagiac, his grandparents Mark and Debby Wisniewski of Cassopolis, Tim and Glenna Newton of Cassopolis, Bob and Debbie Wallace of Dowagiac, his great grandparents Harold and Marcella Peterson of Dowagiac, Aileen and Harold West of Dowagiac, Loretta Webster of Dowagiac, Dory Madden of Buchanan and James and Beverly Wallace of Ohio. Gabriel passed away at Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo on Wednesday March 10, 2010, in his mother's arms after a three week battle with ARDS (acute respiratory distress syndrome). He is preceded in death by his brother Hunter in 2004, and great grandparents Fred Webster, Helen Shay, and Omar Eichel. His family will gather with friends on Friday from 5-8 p.m. at the Apostolic Lighthouse Church (M62 West) in Dowagiac where his funeral service will be held on Saturday at 1 p.m. Memorial contributions in Gabriel's name may be directed to the family in care of Robert and Veronica.
