Maria's Obituary
Maria's life began on August 16, 1906 in Dolina, Austria, the daughter of Anton and Anna (Kostetski) Horbowa. She was united in marriage to Rudolf Lorenz on February 4, 1940 in Poland. She moved to the Dowagiac area in 1990 from Hammond, IN. Surviving family includes her son William (Linda) Lorenz of Dowagiac, grandchildren Melina Moyer, Sonja Houle, Orrin Lorenz, and Nathan Lorenz, eight great grandchildren and one brother Jaroslav Horbowa. Maria passed away on Saturday March 6, 2010 at Forest Glen Assisted Living Center in Dowagiac. Private graveside interment will be held at Riverside Cemetery in Dowagiac. Yazel & Clark Chapel is serving the family.
