Anjean's Obituary
Anjean's life began on December 1, 1937 in Cicero, IL, the daughter of Nicholas and Bertha (Kooy) Brander. She was married on June 29, 1957 to Billy Harlow Parker in Hines, IL. Anjean attended the First United Methodist Church. She was the secretary for the First United Methodist Church in Dowagiac, Esther Circle Secretary and Secretary of the Antlerettes. She was the Past President of United Methodist Women and the Jr. Arts Club. Anjean was a member of the Rose Buds Chapter of the Red Hat Society, the Children and Family Services Auxiliary and she was a member of the Dowagiac Book Club. She enjoyed playing bridge and she belonged to bridge clubs. Anjean resided at the Cass County Medical Facility where she was very active. She enjoyed playing cards, bingo, and she enjoyed the cooking classes. Anjean was the Resident Council President at the Cass county Medical Care Facility. Her loving family includes her children Karen (Doug) Younger, Deanna (Scott) Trout, and William “Bill†Parker all of Dowagiac her grandchildren Scott Trout, Christina Trout, Will Younger, Gregory L. Younger, her great grandchildren Ashton Younger and Mason Younger and her brothers Albert Brander of San Antonio, TX., Richard (Doris) Brander of Cicero, Il. Anjean passed away on Wednesday, November 25, 2009, Cass County Medical Care Facility in Cass. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Billy Harlow Parker. Her family will receive friends on Thursday from 10 to 11 a.m. at First United Methodist Church where her memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. led by Pastor John Kasper. Anjean's final resting place will be at Mission Hills Memorial Gardens in Niles. Memorial contributions may be directed to First United Methodist Church, Cass County Medical Care Facility or Children and Family Services of St. Joseph Michigan.
