Louise's Obituary
Louise’s life began on December 1935 in Dowagiac, the daughter of Allan and Permelia (Warner) Johnson. She was united in marriage to Robert Moore, who survives in Green Valley, Arizona and then to Charles Cox, who preceded her in death. Louise was the deputy treasurer of Cass County for several years. She was a lifelong member of First Christian Church in Dowagiac and served as a deaconess. Louise was the past president of the Cass County Republican Party. Her loving family includes her mother Permelia Johnson of Dowagiac, her children Robert (Pamela) Moore of Niles, Cherie (Jim) Bradford of Dowagiac, and Susan (Scott) Johnson of Charlotte, NC, stepchildren Donna (Bill) Stoll of Vandalia, Dianna (Luke) Shubert of Lakeville, IN, Christine (John) Michael of South Bend, Charles “Buddy” (Rebecca) Cox, Jr of Detroit, grandchildren Rebecca and Rachel Moore of Niles, Joy (Rob) Benoit of Mesa, AZ, Dana Molter and Marci ( Dale) Killarney, Jr. of Dowagiac and Jared (Colleen) Bradford of Cassopolis, Cindy Stutzman, Michael Stoll and Jason Stoll, great-grandchildren Andrew Stull, Haven Angell, Arika, Jenna and Heidi Hemmingway and Rowan Bradford, sisters Linda (Leo) Jahnz of Elida, OH, Allan (Julie) Johnson, Jr. of Crossville, TN, and Dan (Marge) Johnson of Mesa, AZ and several nieces and nephews. Louise passed away on Wednesday, September 23, 2009 at her home. She is preceded in death by a grandson Robby Stoll in 2008. . Her family will gather with friends on Monday 5-8 p.m. at McLauchlin-Clark Funeral Home where her funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 10 a.m. led by Pastor Jon Den Houter. She will be laid to rest in South Wayne Cemetery following the service. Memorials may be directed to First Christian Church or to Hospice at Home.
