Susan Mae Cloud

Susan’s life began on December 25, 1942 in Harlan, KY, the daughter of Burchell and Della Mae (Slusher) Collett. She was married to Arnold Cloud on December 17, 1967 in Dowagiac. Susan worked as a health care aid for L.A.D.D. She was a faithful member of the Apostolic Lighthouse Church. Her greatest joy was her loving family which includes her husband of 41 years, Arnold Cloud of Dowagiac, her children Dallas (Megan) Cloud, Michael (Michelle) Cloud and Kenneth ( Jennifer) Cloud, all of Dowagiac, grandchildren Andrew Cloud, Matthew Cloud, TyLynn Cloud, Michael Cloud, Joshua Cloud, Kaitlyn Terry, Kenneth A. Cloud, Cody Cloud, William Cloud and Elizabeth Cloud. Susan passed away on Wednesday September 23, 2009 at Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo. She is preceded in death by her parents, her son Jonathan Slusher and two brothers L.P. and J.B. Collett. Susan’s family will gather with friends on Sunday from 1-5 p.m. at the Apostolic Lighthouse Church, Dowagiac where her funeral service will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. led by Pastor David Helmuth. She will be laid to rest in Riverside Cemetery, Dowagiac following the services. Memorial contributions may be directed to the church.
