Pamela Churchill

Pam’s life began on October 7, 1953 in South Bend, the daughter of Clinton J. and Gloria (Hyink) Moore. She was a 1971 graduate of Dowagiac Union High School. Pam was united in marriage to Craig A. Churchill on March 4, 1972 in Dowagiac. She was employed by the Dowagiac Animal Hospital and has worked as a dental office assistant for Dr. Matthew Cripe and others in the area. Pam liked to garden, collect antiques and was a gifted painter. She especially loved her dogs Cassie and Trevor. Her greatest joy was her family which includes her husband of 37 years Craig Churchill of Dowagiac, her son Jon Churchill of Dowagiac, her mother Gloria Moore of Dowagiac, sisters Colleen (Don) Roach of Dowagiac, Rose (Don) Basinger of Richmond, VA, Susan Hedstrom of South Bend, Crystal (David) Sprague of Dowagiac and Cynthia (Andy) Custard of Sturgis, and several nieces and nephews. Pam passed away on Sunday July 5, 2009 at Borgess Lee Memorial Hospital. She is preceded in death by her father Clinton J. Moore and her maternal and paternal grandparents. Her family will gather with friends on Wednesday from 6-7 p.m. at McLauchlin-Clark Funeral Home where her memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday led by Reverend Virginia Heller.
