Kaia Rose Gard

Kaia was perpetual motion starting at her birth on May 16, 2003 in Fort Wayne, IN. She brought great joy to the hearts of her parents Damon Gard of Sister Lakes and Camille (Roberts) Gard of Bartlett, IL. Kaia was in Kindergarten at Sister Lakes Elementary School. She loved music, dancing and beach walks with her father. Kaia was special unlike any other child. She was the loving sister of her big sister Morgan and her little sister Kendall, both at home, granddaughter to Rudy and Jane Gard of Sister Lakes and Roy and Cheryl Roberts. She is also survived by uncle Derrick (Joann) Gard of Elkhart, Aunt Mandy McCrorey of Sister Lakes, Uncle Russell (Donna) Gard of Phoenix, AZ, Uncle David (Michelle) Roberts of Apopka, FL, Aunt Rachel (Stephen) Wile of Boise, ID, and cousins Dylan, Jenna, Ben, Emma, Brittney, Nick, Jasmine, Alayna, Caleb, Tori and Kate. Kaia passed away on Monday May 25th in Sister Lakes. She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Roy and Cheryl Roberts. Kaia’s family will gather with friends on Sunday from 2-4 p.m. at McLauchlin-Clark Funeral Home where her funeral service will be held on Sunday at 4 p.m. led by Pastor Skip MacCarty of Pioneer Memorial Church.
