Judy's Obituary
Judy’s life began on November 18, 1943 in Benton Harbor, the daughter of James and Mitzie Woods. She was united in marriage to Darrel L. Schaus on November 14, 1964 in Benton Heights. She was a faith filled member of the Apostolic Lighthouse Church in Dowagiac. Judy enjoyed spending time with grandchildren, doing crafts and playing cards. Her loving family includes her husband Darrel of Dowagiac, children Carol Schaus of Dowagiac, Cathy ( Robert) Williams of Stevensville and step son Darrel Schaus, Jr. of Coloma, two grandsons Cameron and Dylan and members of her church family. Judy went to be with her Lord on Saturday April 25, 2009 from her home in Dowagiac. She is preceded in death by a son JohnDee Schaus and two brothers Robert and Terry Woods. Her family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at the Apostolic Lighthouse Church in Dowagiac where her service will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. led by her pastor Pastor David Helmuth. She will be laid to rest in Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Sodus. Memorial contributions in her name may be directed to Borgess VNA/Hospice or the Muscular Dystrophy Association of Grand Rapids.
