Dori White-May

Dori’s life began on September 16, 1956 in Dowagiac, the daughter of Dean and Janet (Williams) White. She loved her flowers and gardening and decorating for holidays, especially Christmas. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Dori had worked as a bartender for several area taverns. Her family includes her son Brian Tuffnell of Kalamazoo, two grandchildren Zachary and Alexis Tuffnell, sisters Phyllis Moudy of Edwardsburg, Nancy Russell of Niles, Sandy (Bill) Hamrick of Greenbriar, AR, brothers Eldon ( Dianna) White of Oklahoma City and Bruce White of Sparta, MS. and very special friend Phyllis Haskins of Dowagiac. Dori passed away on Thursday March 19, 2009 at University of Toledo Hospital. She is preceded in death by her parents. Her family will receive friends on Saturday March 28th from 10-11 a.m. at McLauchlin-Clark Funeral Home where her memorial service will begin at 11 a.m. She will be laid to rest in Riverside Cemetery, Dowagiac at a later date.
