David Meuleman

Dave’s life began on February 14, 1954 in Cincinnati, the son of Robert and Mary Jane (Peck) Meuleman.He is a 1976 graduate of Notre Dame University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Metallurgical Engineering. He earned his Doctorate of Engineering from the University of Michigan in 1980. Dave had been employed by National Steel and General Motors.His loving family includes mother Mary Jane Meuleman of Sister Lakes, his children Sarah (Jake) Roth of Virginia, and Brady (Amanda) Worden of Jackson, MI, his sister Ann Jendryk of Wheaton, IL, his brothers Dr. Thomas (Jan) Meuleman, M.D. of Park City, UT, and Dr. John (Sophia) Meuleman, M.D. of Gainesville, FL, sister in law Ann Meuleman of Dallas, TX and three nieces Lindsey and Laura Meuleman of San Diego and Emma Meuleman of Gainesville, FL.Dave passed away on Tuesday March 10, 2009 at the University of Michigan Medical Center.He is preceded in death by his father Robert Meuleman in 2003 and his brother Dan Meuleman in 1995. Dave’s family will receive friends on Saturday from 1-2 p.m. at McLauchlin-Clark Funeral Home 405 Center St. Dowagiac, MI.) where his memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday.
