Jeff Miller

Jeffery Miller, 65, of St. Joseph, MI passed away on Thursday, Oct. 11, 2018. Arrangements have been entrusted to Starks & Menchinger Funeral Home – 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph, MI.  Jeffery was born on September 20, 1953 in St. Joseph, MI to the late Charles and Doris (Humberg) Miller. He was a graduate of St. Joseph High School and continued his education at Lake Michigan College and Western Michigan University receiving his Bachelor’s Degree. Jeffery started his work history at Conley’s Engraving as an engraver; was a reserve police officer for the Marsellus Police Dept., was a group leader and youth specialist with the Berrien County Juvenile Center; a former President of Local 2757 A.F.S.C.M.E.; and a Berrien County Probate Bailiff for Judge Wilbur Shillinger. His hobbies and interests included hunting, theater arts and dog training. He will be missed by his family and many friends.  Jeffery is survived by his Uncle – Bob Humberg of St. Joseph and his girlfriend/companion of many years – Cindy Parkinson.  A visitation celebrating Jeffery’s life will take place at Starks & Menchinger Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 from 5:00-7:00 P.M., with a Masonic Service at 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
