Kimberly “Kim” K. Guzicki, 57, of Benton Harbor, lost her battle to illness on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at Kindred Hospital of Northern Indiana, Mishawaka. A graveside service will take place on Friday, May 11, 2018 at 1 PM at Dewey Lake Cemetery in Sister Lakes, MI, with Pastor Thomas Bird officiating. A Celebration of Life Service will take place at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Berrien County Cancer Services. Those wishing to leave an online condolence may do so at www.starks-menchinger.com Kim was born on June 21, 1960 in South Bend, IN to Harold & Kaye (Johnson) Jones. She graduated from Dowagiac High School in 1978 and continued her education at Siena Heights University where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. Kim used her knowledge of accounting to work in various positions, from a bank teller to vice president, at local banks.  After she was diagnosed with cancer, Kim took some time to spend with her family. Together they would enjoy watching NASCAR. Kim was a fighter and fought with all the strength she had; her positive attitude and courageous personality always put a smile on everyone’s face. She was an incredible lady who will be missed dearly by all who knew her. Kim is survived by her parents, Harold & Kaye; daughter, Jacqueline Guzicki of Kalamazoo; fiancé of nearly 15 years, Steven E. Reed of Benton Harbor; twin sister, Sharri Parks of Portage, MI and sister, Debbie (Lon) Wishart of Stevensville; step-son, Steven J. Reed; numerous nieces & nephews; and 2 German Shephard dogs, Camber & Chassis.
