Erna Crawford

Erna L. Crawford, 73, of Stevensville, MI, passed away on Friday, November 10, 2017, at Lakeland Hospital in St. Joseph. Arrangements have been entrusted to Starks & Menchinger Funeral Home – 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph, MI.  Erna was born on September 7, 1944, in Yugoslavia to the late Anton and Mary (Antes) Bock. On July 12, 1964, she married Jerry Lee Crawford. Erna was a beloved wife, loving mother and grandmother. She loved to bowl, do puzzles, color, read mystery novels and go to the casino. She was also a member of the Stevensville United Methodist Church.  Erna is survived by her husband Jerry; her children John (Janet) Crawford of St. Joseph and David (Erin Buckler) Crawford of Stevensville; grandson Michael; a sister Linda (Mike) Catron of West Palm Beach, FL; aunt Mary and several cousins. She was preceded in death by her son Michael.  A Celebration of Life service will take place on Tuesday, November 14, 11:00 A.M. at the Stevensville United Methodist Church with Rev. David Hills officiating. Burial will follow at North Shore Memory Gardens in Coloma. Visitation with the family is on Monday, November 13, from 5:00-7:00 P.M. at the Starks & Menchinger Funeral Home.
