Carol's Obituary

Carol's life began on December 27, 1968 in Benton Harbor, the daughter of Darrel and Judy Mae (Woods) Schaus. She loved doing crafts with her mother, loved to play her computer games and painting and drawing. Carol loved her cats and was genuinely kind hearted. Her nephews never did without anything thanks to Aunt Carol. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of the Jehovah's Witness in Dowagiac and loved to go out and serve with the Kingdom Hall. Her loving family includes her father Darrel Schaus of Sister Lakes, sister Cathy (Robert) Williams of Stevensville, step brother Darrel Schaus of Coloma and two nephews Cameron and Dylan Williams. Carol passed away on Sunday July 17, 2011 at The Timbers of Cass County. She is preceded in death by her mother Judy Schaus, and twin brother John Schaus. Her family will meet friends on Wednesday from 11- 1 p.m. at Yazel & Clark Chapel where her funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. led by Elder Bobby Hackett of the Dowagiac Kingdom Hall. She will be laid to rest in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Sodus with committal services by Pastor Casey Helmuth.
