Donna M. Nash

Donna’s life began on July 15, 1955 in Paw Paw, the daughter of Donald D. Ferrier and Helen M. (Mead) Ferrier- Head. After graduation from high school and attending college, Donna worked as a home health care provider. She was united in marriage to Jimmie Nash on August 30, 1975 at the First Christian Church in Dowagiac. Donna was a member of the Dowagiac Eagles. She loved all sorts of crafts. Donna painted, crocheted, sewed, and did pottery. Her greatest joy was her family which includes her husband of 33 years Jimmie Nash of Jones, her mother Helen Head of Dowagiac, her son John Nash of Jones, sister Patricia Ann Waterson of Dowagiac, and brother Eugene Raymond Ferrier of Oklahoma, several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and many friends. Donna passed away on Saturday July 25th at Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo. She is preceded in death by her father Donald D. Ferrier and a brother Donald D. Ferrier, Jr. Her family will receive friends on Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. at McLauchlin-Clark Funeral Home where her funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. led by Pastor Kirby Johnson of the Howardsville Gospel Chapel. She will be laid to rest in Poe Cemetery at a later date. Memorial contributions in her name may be directed to her husband Jimmie.
