Florence Karch

Florence Karch (nee Brunacci), 97, of St. Joseph, passed away on Sat., June 27, 2015 at Caretel Inns. Arrangements have been entrusted to Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home of St. Joseph, MI.   Florence was born on September 24, 1917 in Chicago, IL to the late John and Carmela (Chiaro) Brunacci. She was the beloved wife of the late Harold Karch; cherished mother of Barbara (Gary) Reeves and Beverly (Michael) Astopenia; loving Nani of the late Kimberly Astopenia, the late Michael Astopenia, Kendra (Fiancee Donny) Astopenia, Adam Astopenia, Eric Reeves, and Alexander Astopenia; devoted sister of the late Catherine (the late Keith) Morgan, the late Guy (the late Gladys and the late Betty) Brunacci, the late James (the late Corrine) Brunacci, and Frank (the late Ruth) Brunacci;  and aunt of many dear nieces and nephews.   A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, July 3 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 211 Church Street, St. Joseph, MI with Father James Morris officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery, St. Joseph, MI. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 2, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Starks and Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph, MI.   In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice At Home, 4025 Health Park Lane, St. Joseph, MI 49085.
