Peggy's Obituary

Peggy L. Geisler, 61, of Stevensville, passed away Friday, September 16, 2005, at Lakeland Hospital, St. Joseph. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Monday at Kerley-Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph with Rev. Tom Batsky officiating. Burial will follow at Hickory Bluff Cemetery in Stevensville. Friends may call from 3-5 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Hospice at Home or Trinity Lutheran School. Mrs. Geisler was born December 7, 1943 in Kennett, Missouri to Henry & Justeen (Hackworth) Davidson. On July 27, 1974, she married Phillip Geisler in Stevensville. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandsons. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Peggy is survived by her husband Phillip; her daughter Jerri (Scott) Cooley of St. Joseph; her son Doug Slentz of Elkhart, IN; two grandson-Chandler Graham & Christian Cooley; her mother Justeen Davidson of South Haven, MI; three sisters-Verla Hayes & Shirley Goff, both of Senath, Missouri, Betty (Delbert) Russell of Paragould, Arkansas; two brothers-Jackie Davidson & Dewayne Davidson, both of Holcomb, Missouri; and two special friends-Leola Domke & Sally Kauffman. She was preceded in death by her father Henry Davidson.
