Bruno's Obituary
Bruno Lange, 68, formerly of St. Joseph, now of Roscommon, MI, passed away at Mercy Hospital in Grayling, MI, on Friday, April 1, 2005. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday, April 5, 11:30 A.M., at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, 404 E. Glenlord Rd., St. Joseph, MI, with Rev. Carl Pagel officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery, St. Joseph, MI. Visitation will be on Monday, April 4, 2005, from 6:00-8:00 P.M., at Kerley-Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph, MI. Memorial contributions may be made to Grace Lutheran Church of St. Joseph, or to St. Martin Lutheran Church of Roscommon, MI. Friends wishing to leave a message of condolence, or to sign the family guestbook, may do so at www.starks-menchinger.com Mr. Lange was born December 19, 1936, in Poland, to Edmund and Leokadie (Pretzlaff) Lange. The Lange family moved to America in 1952, and settled in St. Joseph in 1953. Mr. Lange was a proud veteran of the United States Army, having served in the 101st Airborne, Screaming Eagles. On October 24, 1964, in St. Joseph, he married Hilde Frost. After his retirement in 2002, they moved to Roscommon, MI. Mr. Lange worked at Tafcor, Inc. in Berrien Springs for over 30 years, retiring as plant manager. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, and especially spending time with his family. He will be missed by many friends, and his loving family. Mr. Lange is survived by his wife Hilde; his two daughters, Lisa (David) VanHeulen of Allegan, MI, and Krista (David) Wolf of Baroda, MI; three grandchildren, Jeremy, Lauren and Sean Wolf; a brother, Alfred (Martha) Lange of St. Joseph; and three sisters, Martha (Harry) Schulz of Roscommon, MI, Lucia Osmond of Nipomo, CA, and Waltraud (Marvin) Brown of Troy, MI. He is preceded in death by his parents Edmund and Leokadie Lange.
