Erick Kuehn

Erick Kuehn, 80, of Stevensville, passed away on Monday, June 20, 2005, at Lakeland Hospital in St. Joseph. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, June 23, 2005, at 2:00 P.M., at Kerley-Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph with Rev. Martin Weigand officiating. Burial will follow in Hickory Bluff Cemetery in Stevensville. Friends may call on the family on Thursday at the funeral home from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. Memorial donations may be made to St. Matthew?s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Benton Harbor. Friends may send the family a condolence message or sign the guest book on-line at www.starks-menchinger.com. Erick was born in Poland on March 19, 1925. He married Amanda Hoffman on September 20, 1947, in Lindintahl, Germany and they were married for almost 58 years. Erick was employed at Vail Rubber of St. Joseph and South Haven for 25 years. He was a member of St. Matthew?s Evangelical Lutheran Church and he enjoyed fishing. Erick is survived by his daughter Angie (Larry) Wilkerson of Austin, TX; grandchildren-Larry Wilkerson of Little Rock, AR, Barbara Arant of Austin, Gene (Susan) Arant of Austin, and Willard Wilkerson of Austin; great-grandchildren- Tabitha, Taylor, Olivia, Sophia, and Ford; and one sister Laura (Heinz) Vogel of Germany. Erick was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother.
