Beth Blanchard 17, of Stevensville, died Monday September 6, 2004 at Lakeland Hospital ? St. Joseph. She was a beautiful and driven person, high on life: funny, exceptional, a caring and giving daughter, an awesome and out-going sister. Friends may call from 4:00- 8:00 PM Thursday, September 9, 2004, at Kerley ? Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home 2650 Niles Road, St. Joseph, with prayers following at 8:00 PM. Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 AM Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in St. Joseph. Burial to follow in Riverview Cemetery. Memorials may be made to The Beth Blanchard Memorial College Scholarship Fund. Friends wishing to send their condolences may do so at www.starks-menchinger.com. Beth was born in Seoul, South Korea, July 11, 1987. Her parents are Gregg and Kim (Hendren) Blanchard. She attended Lake Michigan Catholic School and was involved with The Student Council, The National Honors Society as a High Honor Student; Drama club, Ski club, Key Club, Band, Varsity Tennis Team and Girl?s Soccer. She is survived by her parents Kim & Gregg of Stevensville, a brother Brock (Tracy) Blanchard of Grandville, Michigan; a loving boyfriend Dumoric Morris; paternal Grand parents Ron & Joy Blanchard of St. Joseph, maternal Grandmother, Shirley Hendren Sturgeon, of Lady Lake FL.; cherished nieces, Tammie & Durwood D?Agostino, Jim & Kathy Blanchard, Nancy (Blanchard) & Steven Moore, Mary (Blanchard) & John Price: many cousins, Michael & Christine Blanchard, Bradley Blanchard, Jade, Gage, and Tracey D?Agostino, Michael and Corey Ives, Michael, Matthew & Casey Moore as well as numerous second cousins and step-cousins. She was preceded in death by her ?Papa? Edward Hendren. She took tthe very best attributes of her friends and made them her own. Beth had an abundance of friends who loved her very much and she loved them. To her ?Girly Laker Family? who knew her as ?Tough Asian Chick she will now be their ?Asian Angel with an Attitude?. Beth is an organ donor which allowed her to give life back to other people.
