John Henry Vogel, 88, of Watervliet, passed away Friday, July 30, 2004 at home.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, August 5, 2004 at St. Joseph Catholic Church 211 Church St., St. Joseph. Burial will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery in Hartford. Friends may call beginning at 10:00 A.M. Thursday at Kerley-Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. Memorials may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Mr. Vogel was born December 22, 1915 in Muskegon, Michigan to John G. & Lillian (Schnipter) Vogel. He worked with his father doing residential remodeling. John was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in St. Joseph.
Mr. Vogel is survived by a sister Phyllis (Earl) Peck of St. Cloud, FL; a brother Robert Fisher of Jacksonville, FL; and his long-time friend & caregiver Daniel Malaski of Watervliet. He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers-George & Edward Vogel.
