Arthur Farrell Boyer

Arthur Farrell Boyer, 50, of Stevensville, passed away on Sunday, April 10, 2005, at his home. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday, April 13, 2005, at 11:00 A.M. at Kerley-Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph, with Rev. Thomas Brazinsky officiating. Burial will follow in Hickory Bluff Cemetery in Stevensville. Friends may call on the family on Tuesday, April 12, 2005, from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family in c/o the funeral home. Arthur was born on June 11, 1954, in Coldwater, Michigan, to Howard and Geraldine (Price) Boyer. He married Linda Busick on April 29, 1989 in St. Joseph. He worked as a maintenance and machine operator at Batson Printing until 2002. Arthur was an avid fisherman and enjoyed boating on Lake Michigan. He enjoyed listening to gospel music. He also was a huge Notre Dame Fan and enjoyed many sports including football, basketball, baseball, golfing, and bowling. Arthur is survived by his loving wife Linda; son Christopher (Michelle) Barnes of St. Joseph; daughters- Candy Boyer of Bridgman, Amanda Boyer of St. Joseph, and Danielle McDaniel of Coloma; son Arthur Boyer II of Bridgman; sisters- Sharon Kramlik of Illinois, Nova Bearden of Arkansas, Desma ?Dusty? Rucano of Mishawaka, and Misty Varney of Coloma; brothers- Danny Boyer of Benton Harbor, Billy Boyer of Washington, David Boyer of Indiana, and Mark Boyer of Ohio; one grandson; many nieces and nephews; and his faithful canine friend Coco. Arthur was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother Patrick Boyer.
