Margaret P. Bovo

Margaret P. Bovo, 71, of Benton Harbor, passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2005 at Lakeland Hospital in St. Joseph. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday at Kerley-Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. Burial will follow at North Shore Memory Gardens, Coloma. Friends may call from 11:00 A.M. ? 1:00 P.M. Mrs. Bovo was born July 31, 1933 in Chicago, Illinois to Frank & Mary (Crow) Grumbir. Her family moved from Chicago to Coloma, and Margaret was crowned Miss Coloma in 1954. Margaret?s family was very important to her, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed bowling in her earlier years. Margaret is survived by five children-Michael (Patrice) Bovo of South Bend, IN, Joseph Bovo of Coloma, Carmen (Bonnie) Bovo of Benton Harbor, Christine (Kirk) Duncombe of Hartford, MI, Thomas (Renee) Bovo of Benton Harbor; ten grandchildren-Jennifer, Tonya, Kyle, Anthony, Amanda, Cortney, Jonathan, Nicholas, Squire, Joseph; one great-granddaughter Zoie; two sisters Helen Hansen of Benton Harbor with whom she made her home, and Mary Frances Bartalone of Chicago. She was preceded in death by her parents and by four brothers-Gerald, Frank Jr., George & Martin Grumbir.
