Jack's Obituary
Jack H. Rhodes, 54, of Sodus, passed away Thursday, June 10, 2004. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held 4:30 P.M. Sunday at Kerley-Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. Friends may call beginning at 3:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home. Jack was born April 23, 1950 in Benton Harbor to Jack & Avon Marie (Robinson) Rhodes. He was a member of the Southwestern Michigan Car Collectors. Jack enjoyed restoring & showing cars. He had been awarded 100 trophies in the last ten years for entries in various car shows. Jack will be missed by all that knew him.
Jack is survived by his son Rob Rhodes of Chicago, IL; his sister Julie (Jim) Barnes of Fort Worth, TX; nephew Joseph Barnes; his special friend Carol Schlender of St. Joseph; his aunt & uncle Nita & Pete Horsic of Benton Harbor; and good friends Stoney Fortune, Robert Washburn, Rich Luther & Gerald Brewer. He was preceded in death by his parents.
