Electa's Obituary
Electa Marie Medo, 87, of St. Joseph, died Friday, October 10, 2003, at Lakeland Continuing Care Center, St. Joseph. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:30 pm, Wednesday, October 14, 2003, at Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. Friends may call on the family from 1:30 ? 2:30pm, Wednesday, at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery; Niles, Mich. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice at Home. Electa was born on November 9, 1915, in Dowagiac, Mich., to Wendell & Mary (Smith) Samson. She married John Medo in November 1937.
Electa is survived by 2 sons ?Phil (Dori) Medo of Stevensville, and Joe (Elena) Medo of Murrieta, Calif.; 2 sisters ? Eloise Claire of Edwardsburg, and Gloria (John) Sayne of Pahrump, NV; 6 grandchildren Kate (Mark), Mike, April (Brian), Adrianne, Aimee (Evan), Aaron and 4 great grandchildren Andrea, Elizabeth, Thomas, Charlie.
She is preceded in death by her husband John in 1961, and a son Patrick Medo in 1983.
