Shirley Bush

Shirley L. Bush, 88, of Benton Harbor, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, February 6, 2011 at her home. A Memorial Visitation will take place on Thursday February 17, 2011 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Starks & Menchinger Family Funeral Home, 2650 Niles Rd; St. Joseph, Those wishing to send the family condolences or sign the guestbook may do so on-line at www.starks-menchinger.com. Shirley was born on December 9, 1922 to Elsie and Louise Stewart (Peters) in South Bend IN. She was known for her love of the lake, and the lighthouses, and anything nature related, especially watching her birds on the deck. She is survived by her daughter; Sandra Wilson, of Benton harbor, son; Donald Bush Sr. of Benton harbor, her grandchildren; Jan, Jerome, Tanya, Kiritan, Donald Jr., Kristan, Ryan, Audra, April, and Shelly, and her nine great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Daniel, her three brothers, Earl, Maury, and Fred, and her son, Daniel.
