Linda Ann Huber

Linda Ann Huber of Saint Joseph, 73, passed away Friday, March 15 at Spectrum Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan with her family by her side. Linda was born on January 23, 1946 in Hayti, MO to Otto and Mildred Milliken. In 1964, she graduated from Benton Harbor High School and went on to attend Lake Michigan College. On August 7, 1965 she married the love of her life, Virgil Huber, whom she was married to for 53 years, up to her death. Linda Huber started out as a legal secretary and retired in 2007 as an Administrative Assistant at the Berrien County Parks Department, where she worked for 20 years. Linda was a member of Blue Roof Church in Saint Joseph, MI for 55 years. She was dedicated and passionate about volunteering at Common Closet/Food Pantry; an organization with Blue Roof Church to help the less fortunate of our community be fed, clothed and cared for. Her hobbies included working with her hands on anything creative, spending time with family and frequent trips with her husband. Linda is survived by her loving husband, Virgil Huber of Saint Joseph, and her brother, Carl (Gene) Milliken of Benton Harbor. She also had numerous nieces and nephews that she treated and spoiled as her own. She was preceded in death by Clyde, Sonny, Larry Milliken (brothers) and Georgia (Georgie) Lively (sister). Linda was loved by everyone who met her. She was a great teacher and example, her stillness spoke volumes. Her laughter was infectious and passion for her relationship with God was visible. Her strength and faith, up to the end, were immeasurable. She is greatly loved and will be greatly missed. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 20th from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Blue Roof Church in Saint Joseph, MI. The funeral will follow at 12:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Blue Roof Church’s organization, Common Table Food Pantry
