Harold's Obituary
Harold W. Taube, 80, of St. Joseph, passed away on Friday, May 3, 2019, at home.
A celebration of life gathering will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, May 16, 2019, at Starks & Menchinger Chapel & Cremation Services, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph, MI. Harold was born on February 21, 1939, to Robert and Chloe Taube in Starke County, IN. He graduated from Benton Harbor High School. On June 25, 1960, he married the love of his life, Linda Lou Sliter in Benton Harbor. Harold was a very hard-working man from a young age and retired from Modern Plastics after many years of service. He enjoyed bird watching, working out, and eating Santaniello’s pizza every Friday. Most of all he cherished time with his family.
Harold is survived by his grandchildren, Matthew Brockway, Katie (Anthony) Metz and Emily Schmeling; four great-grandchildren and beloved dog, Abby. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Chloe Taube; wife of 57 years, Linda Lou Taube; daughters, Kris Taube and Diana Brockway.
