Ava Denise Fort, 9 Months of Benton Harbor, MI passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at Spectrum Lakeland Health.
A Home Going will be Celebrated 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at Refreshing Fountains, 175 S. Euclid Ave., Benton Harbor with Pastor Melvin Burton officiating. Ava was born July 30, 2018 in St. Joseph, MI to Nicholas “Nick” & Angel (Hassel) Fort. Ava was loved by her family especially her siblings. She loved being held and sung to.
Ava is survived by her parents Nicholas “Nick” & Angel Fort; siblings D’Marion Washington, A’Darion Fort, Nickya Fort, Nicholas Fort Jr.; grandparents Carolyn and Norris Fort, Cynthia Batiest and Joseph Jordan; great grandparents Dorothy McCoy, Hal Burton, and Carrie Jackson; god-parents Shakinna and Marcellus Burton; god-brother Marcellus Burton Jr.; god-sister Malia Burton; a special aunt and sister, Jazmyn Sanders; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
