Eva's Obituary
Eva “Sally” Jewell, 97, of St. Joseph, passed away on Sunday, June 2, 2019, peacefully at home with her family by her side.
A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 8, 2019, at Woodland Shores Baptist Church, 3555 W. Shawnee Rd., Bridgman, MI. Burial will take place at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, June 5, 2019, in Lincoln Township Cemetery, Stevensville. Memorial contributions may be made to Caring Circle Hospice. Arrangements have been entrusted to Starks & Menchinger Chapel, St. Joseph. Those wishing to send a condolence online may do so at www.starks-menchinger.com.
Eva was born on October 27, 1921, to Isaac and Fanny Cohen in London, England. She was a supervisor at Voice of Music for over thirty years and then at Shepherd Castors. In September of 1964, she married Graydon Jewell. Eva is survived by her cherished family, Dale and Betty Jewell of St. Joseph; nieces & nephews, Laura Jewell, Tracey & Gordon Kennedy, Caitlin Kennedy, Dylan Kennedy and many other nieces & nephews both in America and England. She was preceded in death by her parents, Isaac and Fanny Cohen; husband, Graydon Jewell in 1990 and sister, Jean in 2013.
