Dorthy Marie Hollerbach

Dorthy “Dot” Hollerbach, 76 of Oronoko Township and Marco Island, FL passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at Hanson Hospice in Stevensville. Dot was born on September 1, 1942 in Lisbon, Ohio to Lucian & Hazel (Eells) Smith. She was a graduate of Lisbon High School Class of 1960. In the 1970s and 80s Dot brought aerobic dancing to S.W. Michigan, teaching fitness to hundreds, which brought her tremendous joy. Dot founded Arcadia Gardens in 1990, bringing beauty and joy to her many clients in the area. On July 5, 2003 she wed John Hollerbach in Oronoko Township, MI. In their retirement she enjoyed traveling the world with John and wintering on Marco Island, where she became an avid artist in both pastel and oil paintings. Dot also enjoyed biking, boating and especially spending time with her family and friends. Dot will be remembered by all who knew her for her infectious smile, love of life and generous spirit. She is survived by her loving husband of 16 years John Hollerbach; children, Kelley Attias, Todd (Anna) Brooks, Andy Brooks, Mike (Alana) Hollerbach, Bill (Janan) Hollerbach, Steve (Anissa) Hollerbach and Leslie (Joel) Arbanas; grandchildren, Emily, Claire, Talia, Leo, Camden, Nathan, Cassidy, Keller, Vada, Logan, Jacob, Trever (Amber), Avery, Christopher, Austin, Chloe and Josie; great-grandsons Trenton and Stevie; siblings Marjorie Watson, Evelyn (Ernie) Williams and Jim (Bonnie) Smith and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Bob Smith and Lee Smith. A Celebration of Dot’s life will be held privately with her family. Per her wishes cremation has taken place.
