Robert J. “Bobby” Kelly III, of Stevensville, passed away Friday, September 27, 2019 at his home.
A small gathering of family and friends celebrating Bobby’s life will be held at 3:00 PM, Saturday, October 12, 2019 at Starks & Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph with Pastor Tom Bird officiating. Friends may visit from 2:00 PM until the time of service Saturday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of Robert Kelly Jr. for a fund that will be set up for Bobby’s 3 year old son. Bobby was born on May 5, 1986 in Meriden, CT to Robert Jr. & Susan (Dibble) Kelly. He loved anything and everything computers and was a very proficient IT worker. For many years he worked in the IT department of a print shop in Connecticut that did printing for Yale University. Bobby was a very skilled and talented individual when it came to many tasks. There was very little that he didn’t know about computers, he was great with his hands and was a talented builder. In his spare time he also enjoyed gaming and was very well known in the online gaming community. And he had a love for cooking and grilling. Bobby had a love for animals, especially the family’s dog Nene. He will be missed greatly by all who knew him.
Bobby is survived by his son Robert Kelly IV; parents, Robert (Sandra) Kelly Jr, Susan (Al) Haesche; brother Michael Kelly; step-brother Charlie Small; step-sister Christina Smith; aunts and uncles Peggy Loughmiller, Keith Kelly, Kathi (Bill) Geib, Karen (Gary) Crump, Nancy Dibble, Russell (Cassie) Dibble; grandmother Marianne Dibble; step-grandparents Ray & Kay Jiral and many other family members and friends.. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Robert Sr. & Marcella Kelly and Russell C. Dibble.
