Todd C. Day

Todd C. Day, 51, of Hartford, passed away on Sunday, January 5, 2020, at his home. A celebration of life service will be held at 2 pm on Sunday, March 1, 2020, at Starks & Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 1-2 pm also at the funeral home. Memorial contributions in Todd’s name may be made to American Diabetes Association. Those wishing to send a condolence online may do so at www.starks-menchinger.com. Todd was born on October 13, 1968, to Darrell and Linda (Goff) Day in Niles. He graduated from Watervliet High School. He then went on to receive his Master’s Degree in Psychology from Western Michigan University. Todd worked as a substance abuse counselor and owned/operated his own business, Phoenix Rising Pro Counseling in Paw Paw. He enjoyed singing, dancing, theater, cooking and had many talents. Todd’s hobbies also included motorcycles, reading and firearms. Most of all, he cherished time spent with his family. Todd is survived by his mother, Linda Day; daughters, Brianna Day, Brittany Day and sister, Lori Hannan. He was preceded in death by his father, Darrell Day.
