Patricia's Obituary

Patricia Mae Wolff, 87, of St. Joseph, passed away, Monday, February 24, 2020 at Hanson Hospice Center in Stevensville. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, February 29, 2020 at Starks & Menchinger Chapel, 2650 Niles Rd., St. Joseph, with Rev Robert Confer officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery, St. Joseph. Friends may visit with the family from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home. Memorial donations in Patty’s name may be made to Special Olympics Area 17-Berrien County Chapter. Those wishing to sign Patty’s Memory Book online may do so at www.starks-menchinger.com. Patty was born January 16, 1933 in Decatur, Michigan to George & Jenny (Vliek) Sikkema. On April 21, 1951 she married Keith Wolff, whom she had known since the second grade, in Decatur. Patty devoted her time to raising and caring for her husband and five children, and later her grandchildren. She cherished the time they spent together for holidays, birthdays, other special occasions and just in general. In her free time, she enjoyed reading and knitting. Patty is survived by her five children-Kathleen Soper of Mishawaka, IN, Kristi (Al) Buursma of Stevensville, Scott (Gina) Wolff of Cherry Log, GA, Eric (Robbin) Wolff of Stevensville, Curtis (Brenda) Wolff of St. Joseph; thirteen grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren with one on the way; siblings-Douglas (Marcia) Sikkema of Decatur, Joyce (George) Barkovich of Paw Paw, MI; and in-laws-Dale (Flo) Wolff of Coloma, Bruce (Dee) Wolff & Judy (Tom) Masten of North Carolina. She was preceded in death by her husband Keith on December 24, 2011, her parents, and siblings-Beverly Sikkema, Elwood “Woody” Sikkema & Sandra Sikkema.
