Ronald Rubens

Ronald Fredric Rubens, 77, of Mattawan, passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2020, at his home. Ronald is survived by his loving wife and sons, Miriam Bat-Ami, Aaron Rubens, and Danny Rubens. He is also survived by his daughters-in-law Sonia Rubens and Corinne Erickson. Finally, there is his beloved granddaughter, Maya Rubens. Ronald, a tile-setter and dry wall, plaster, and painting man, was a great black-and-white photographer, writer, and drummer. He played the drums in the Army Band and toured with the U.S. Troops in Korea. He gave to his family with his heart and soul. He was a true mensch. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, March 18, 2020, at 1PM, at Fort Custer National Cemetery, 15501 Dickman Rd., Augusta, MI. If you plan to attend the graveside service please be at Fort Custer National Cemetery by 12:40PM on Wednesday in order to be escorted to the graveside.
