Sandra K. Spitzke

Sandra K. Spitzke, 57, of Baroda, passed away on Monday, March 30, 2020 at West Woods of Bridgman. A private family service will take place at Ruggles Cemetery. Sandra was born on October 25, 1962, to Arnold & Dorothy (Kolberg) Spitzke. She graduated from Blossomland Learning Center and continued to work in their Gateway program. One of Sandra’s proudest achievements was when she won a medal for Cross Country Skiing for The Special Olympics in Utah. Sandra also enjoyed drawing, creating her own music on the guitar, synchronized swimming, bowling and dancing. Whenever she had the option of choosing what music to play, she always would pick polka music. Every day at 2PM, Sandra would turn on the TV to watch Rachel Ray and then at 3 PM she would watch her favorite show, The Ellen DeGeneres Show. Sandra is survived by her mom, Dorothy Spitzke of Baroda and brother, Donald (Jeanne) Spitzke of Baroda. Sandra is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Angela (Jeremy) Slater, Matthew (Andrea) Spitzke, Andrew Spitzke, Joseph (Marie) Plumley and Jennifer (Kyle) Simms. She was preceded in death by her father, Arnold and sister, Judy Spitzke Plumley.
