Kristy McNees

Kristy D’ann McNees, 43, of Grand Junction died on Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at home, after a long fight with cancer. She was born on April 14, 1969 to George and Ann (Henry) Thallas in South Haven, Michigan. Kristy was a Bank Teller Supervisor for Chemical Bank at South Haven’s downtown bank. She loved to read and watch her children play sports. Kristy was a Girl Scout Leader. Kristy was a good friend to all and always willing to help.
She is preceded in death by her father – George Thallas
Kristy is survived by her husband – Randy McNees of Grand Junction, MI, her children – Zachary and Jordann McNees of Grand Junction, MI, Her mother- Ann Thallas of Grand Junction, MI, her sister-Joelle (Jeff) Hanley of Grand Junction, MI her brother-Nikolai (Sylvia) Thallas of Bangor, MI her mother-in-law – Judy Hill of Grand Junction, MI, and sister-in-law – Tina Wilson of Dover, TN. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews, and 1 great nephew.
Visitation will be on Friday, September 14 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Filbrandt Family Funeral Home. Funeral will be on Saturday, September 15 at 11:00 am at Bangor Church of Christ, 214 N Walnut St., with Jeremiah Johnson officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Educational Account at Chemical Bank, 433 Phoenix St., South Haven, MI 49090 for Kristy’s Children.
