JoAnn Marie's Obituary
JoAnn Marie Feig, 52, of South Haven, died on Saturday, August 11, 2012 at Hospice House of Holland. She was born February 11, 1960 to John and June (Martin) Streit in Blue Island, Illinois. JoAnn worked as a nurse in hospitals in New York and Ohio.
She is preceded in death by her father John Streit.
JoAnn is survived by her husband Roy; her daughter Kathy Marie (John) Petrie of Livonia; her mother June Streit of South Haven; three brothers – John (Eva) Streit of Anchorage, Alaska, James (Karen) Streit of Lebanon, Indiana, and Joseph (Sabrina) Streit of Lawrence; and six sisters – Judy (William) MacDonald of Midland, Joyce (John) Doty of Grand Junction, Janice (Stewart) Rissley of Bangor, Jodi (Jodi) Forker of Lawrence, Jill (Eddie) Collins of McKinney, Texas, and June (Harry) Rissley of Jenison. A host of nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation will be Friday, August 24 from 10 – 11 AM at St. Basil’s Catholic Church. Funeral services will follow at 11 AM at the church with Rev. Father Robert Flickinger officiating. JoAnn will be laid to rest in Grand Junction Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in JoAnn’s name to the Hospice House of Holland or St. Basil’s Catholic Church.
