Esther Natalie's Obituary
Esther Natalie Heuermann, 76, of South Haven, passed away at her home on Sunday, July 29, 2012. She was born on August 18, 1936 to Edward and Evelyn (Gearing) Scheffler in Coloma, Michigan. Esther was a preschool teacher at and belonged to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church of South Haven.
She is preceded in death along with her parents by a sister – Sandra Frobel.
Esther is survived by her husband – Herman. Her children – David (Tammy) Heuermann, Diane (Jeff) Landry, Richard Heuermann, Robert (Julie) Heuermann, and Susan (Mike) Borr. 4 brothers – Edward (Lois) Scheffler of LaBelle, Florida, Daniel Scheffler of Altemonte Springs, Florida, Frederick (Sharon) Scheffler of Auburndale, Florida, and David (Bridgett) Sheffler of Benton Harbor. 2 sisters – Edythe (Wayne) Hedman of St. Joseph, Michigan, and Eileen Prkut of Charlotte, Michigan. 13 grandchildren – Hannah (Joel), Tegan (Patrick), James (Ronna), Nathan (Gina), Evan, Drew, Ben, Chelsea (Matt), Travis, Olivia, Ryan, Tyler, Connor, and Ashleigh. 6 great grand children also survive.
Funeral services will be at Wednesday, August 1, at 10:30 AM at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church with Pastor Clint A. Rogas, Jr. officiating. Burial will take place at Lakeview Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Esther’s name to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church or Hospice at Home.
