Michael Ray Williams, Jr. Better known as Mike Mike. Michael went Home to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 8, 2012. He was born August 2, 1979 in South Haven, Michigan. Michael spent most of his life in Covert, South Haven, and Kalamazoo, Michigan. He attended Faith Evangelistic Church as a youth. Michael attended Covert and South Haven Schools, where he played football. He received his G.E.D. later in life. He attended Vo-Tech in Lawrence, Michigan and KVCC, where he studied automotive repair. Michael loved fishing, plants, elephants, music, his dogs, scrapping, buying and selling cars, and helping people. Michael was free hearted. He would help anyone in need. It could be cutting your grass, or plowing your snow. He was called early in life, Grandmas lovable baby always with that smile that would light up the world. Everyone loved that “Mike Mike” smile. Michael was preceded in death by his grandfather: Frank Gray, Sr., Grandmother: Viola Williams, and Aunt: Cheryl M. Williams. He leaves to cherish his memories, father: Michael Ray Williams, Sr., mother: Lena S. Strong, son: Michael Gage of Phoenix, AZ; three daughters: Tiana Williams of Covert, MI, Mykeah Williams of Kalamazoo, MI, and Amiya Corona of South Haven, MI, Special friend Brenda Hopkins of Kalamazoo, MI.; step children: Arriyan, Iyannah, John, and Mya. Four brothers: Anthony (Trina) Strong of Detroit, MI., Maurice (Marilyn) Strong of Orlando, FL., Ramon and Davon Williams, both of South Haven, MI. four sisters: Alishia, Alexis, Renee, and clare Williams; Grandmother: Zadie L. Gray of Covert, MI.; Aunt: Rosalind (Earl) Smittie of South Haven, MI.; three uncles: Cedric Gray, Blane (Tracie) Gray both of Covert, MI., Frank Gray, Jr., of Gary, IN.; two god-children: John Lavondo, and Diamond Strickland.; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, family and friends.
Wake will be Saturday, July 14 at 11:00 to 12:00 at The Lily of The Valley Church of Covert. Funeral services will begin at 12:00 at the church with Pastor Joe Wilkins, Sr. officiating.
