Wendy Heiser

Wendy Lynn Heiser, 40, of Grand Blanc formerly of South Haven, Michigan. Wendy was born July 3, 1971 in Flint, Michigan to Kirk and Patricia (Clark) Heath. She was originally from Clio and had also resided in Holland, South Haven and most recently, Grand Blanc. Wendy graduated from South Haven High School in 1989. She attended Grand Valley State and Davenport University. Wendy worked at the Calvin Funeral Home and then the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home in South Haven for the past 17 years. She was affiliated with Birch Run United Methodist Church. Wendy was also active with Gilda’s Club, Relay for Life, Salsa Dancing and Meals on Wheels. She enjoyed her sidekick - Bristol, photography, kayaking and NASCAR. Wendy loved purple and fought “like a girl” against cancer. Wendy was a gentle, loving, giving soul with a quick wit, impacting everyone she met.
Surviving are: Parents: Kirk (Marie) Heath of Clio, Patricia Clark of Ypsilanti, loving sister: Kristine (Troy) Elliott of Oshkosh, Nebraska; Step-brother: Owen (Pamela) Zenker of Grand Blanc. 2 nieces: Shelby and Helen Zenker. Best friend, Ji; Dogs: Bristol and Cassie. Also surviving is Wendy’s South Haven family including : Grandmother – Shirley Clark. Uncles – Rich (Monica) Clark and Jerry (Ann) Gruber. Her aunt - Phyllis (Jack) Flint. Her cousins - Clark, Amy, Deryck Gruber, Jack and John Flint and Kayla and Kylie Clark and many other cousins also survive.
