Mabel Osman

Mabel Osman, 93, of South Haven, Michigan died Monday, March 5, 2012 at Rest Haven Care Center of Holland, Michigan. She was born December 20, 1918 to Charles and Vanna (Kuney) Wauchek in Pullman, Michigan. Mabel married Lauren Osman on March 14, 1948 at the East Casco Church EUB. Mabel worked at Adams Electronic, Countryside Nursing Home, MacDonald Drugstore, High Q in Fennville, and Osman’s Greenhouse. Mabel was a member of the Casco United Methodist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband – Lauren Osman who died in 1969. Her brothers – Lyle Waucheck, Harold Wauchek, George Wauchek, and Arbie Wauchek. Her sisters – Eva Mulac and Myrtle Nagel
She is survived by her children – Dawn (Roger) Bronson of Holland, Michigan. Bob (Margaret) Osman of South Haven, Michigan. Larry (Kim) Osman of Beaverton, Oregon. 6 grand children – Melissa (James) Schneider, Robert (Rachel) Osman Jr., Christopher Bronson, Heather Bronson, Danielle Grimes, and Ryan Osman. And 8 great grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held on Friday, March 9, 2012 at 11:00AM at the Casco United Methodist Church with Pastor Dave Meister officiating. Visitation will be prior to the services from 10:00 to 11:00 at the church. Memorial contributions can be made to the Casco United Methodist Church or American Heart Association.
