Judy Vigansky

Judy Vigansky, 49, of Covert died on February 29, 2012 at home. She was born on March 7, 1962 to Norvell and Ruth (Heide) Forrest in South Haven, Michigan. Judy worked for many years as a house cleaner for many clients; she had also been employed at Wal-Mart for 5 years and an Employment Agency for several years. She was a Girl Scout Leader for 18 years and youth group leader at Family Life Vineyard Church. Judy was always willing to help others and was a great volunteer, who was never able to say no.
Judy is preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband – Charles Vigansky of Covert, MI. Her daughters – Jesica (Harold Jr.) Shelton of Covert, MI and Rebeca (Adam Winstrom) Vigansky of Kalamazoo, MI. Two grandchildren - H.C. and Quenton Shelton. Her sisters – Dorothy Forrest of Coloma, MI, Sue (Dave) Bange of Pullman, MI and Antonia Lloyd of South Haven, MI. Her brothers – Norman (Vicki) Forrest of Covert, MI and John (Marion) Forrest of South Haven, MI. Also many nieces and nephews and all of the many children that she knew that called her Mom also survive.
Visitation will be on Sunday, March 4 from 2-5 PM at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home. Funeral service will be on Monday, March 5 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of South Haven with Pastor Jerry Koller officiating.
