Claudette's Obituary
Claudette Stringer was born to LeRoy and Dorothy Simmons on February 5, 1960 in Chicago, IL. She graduated from Whitney M. Young High School in Chicago. She went on to take some college classes, where she then obtained her CENA license. She worked at various places throughout Southwest Michigan providing care to others. Claudette was united in matrimony to Tommy Lee Stringer in 1986.
She was a devoted Jehovah’s Witness that enjoyed her Bible study. Some of her hobbies were cooking, being with family and shopping. She was the proud owner of Three Sisters Cleaning service.
Claudette leaves behind in loving memory, her husband – Tommy Lee Stringer. Two children – Lamon Simmons and Latoya Simmons, six sisters – JoAnne Simmons, Diane Simmons, Constance Simmons, Karen Simmons, Geneine Simmons and Michelle Simmons, her brothers – LeRoy Jr and Derrick Simmons. Nine grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her parents – Dorothy and LeRoy Simmons, her brother – Lawrence Simmons and her son – Maurice Simmons.
