Naomi Ruth's Obituary
Naomi Ruth Young, 80, of South Haven died Sunday, January 29, 2012 at Country Side Nursing and Rehabilitation Community. She was born February 8, 1931 to Richard and Ruth (Wolf) Morris in Bellevue, Kentucky. Naomi attended Eastern Kentucky University. Then married her high school sweetheart and decided to be a homemaker. Naomi took pride in making her house a home for her family. She cleaned, painted, wallpapered, kept the yard well groomed and everyday at 5:15 the family enjoyed a hot dinner lovingly prepared by her. She was involved with the children’s school activities, volunteered as a room mother, cafeteria helper and served on the PTA Board. In her leisure time she enjoyed playing cards, watching sport events and collecting antiques. As Naomi aged she became a real homebody and loved staying home and watching her TV.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Young.
She is survived by her children, Doug Young, Mark Young, Linda (Kevin Richardson) Williams all of South Haven. Five grandchildren. Six great grandchildren.
