Marian Elsie Trantham

Marian Elsie (Anderson) Trantham, 81, of South Haven died Saturday, January 21 at Home. The last 10 days she was cared for along with Hospice by Debbie and Jessica at home.

She was born September 24, 1930 in South Haven, Michigan to Walter and Bertha (Hepler) Diefenbach. Marian graduated from South Haven High School in 1949. She married Bernard Trantham on June 28, 1968 in South Haven, Michigan. Marian worked as a Telephone Operator. She also drove Taxi Cab and the hearse for the Everson Funeral Home, car salesperson at Betten Motors in South Haven. Marian was a Cub Scout Den Mother and Room Mother.

She is preceded in death along with her parents by her first husband – Charles Anderson. Her daughter – Susan Kehoe and son – Charles Anderson. Step-brother – Ernie Langrader.

She is survived by her husband – Bernard Trantham of South Haven, Michigan.
Three daughters – Pam (Bret) Morgan, Debbie (John) Burrows and Patti (Randy) Guminski all of South Haven, Michigan. One son – Jimmy (Nancy) Anderson of Paw Paw, Michigan. 15 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. Three step-sons – Jerry (Brenda) Trantham of Tennessee, Jack (Linda) Trantham of Richland, Michigan and Larry (Jeannie) Trantham of Bangor, Michigan.. Step-brother – Al Langrader of Pullman, Michigan also survives.
