Rod's Obituary
Rodney Edward Sloane, 79, of Bangor, Michigan died on January 14, 2012 at home. He was born on January 19, 1932 to Charles and Ruth (Stiff) Sloane in Chicago, Illinois. Rod worked as an engineer for many years.
Rod served his country in the US Navy. He attended St. Basil Catholic Church in South Haven.
He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother, John Sloane.
Rod is survived by his daughter Ruth M. Sloane of South Haven, MI, His sisters - Tonda Fistel of Las Angeles, CA, Theresa Rosenberger of WI, and Mary (Jeff) Mack of Downers Grove, IL, and one brother – Tony Jacobozzi of Downers Grove, IL.
A funeral service will be on Monday, January 23 at 10:30 AM at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home with Father Robert Flickinger officiating. Burial with military honors will take place at Ft.
