David's Obituary
David Lawrence White Sr., 56, of Decatur formerly of South Haven died on January 1, 2011 at Rose Arbor Hospice in Kalamazoo, Michigan. He was born on July 27, 1953 in South Haven, MI to Lawrence and Janet (Lister) White. David was a 1971 graduate of South Haven High School. David served his country as a Ranger in the US Army. David worked as a production assistant for Supreme Casting in Stevensville for the past 10 years. He loved Harley Davidson Motorcycles.
He is preceded in death by his mother Janet White.
David is survived by his children – Melanie (Matt Lavender) White of Kalamazoo, MI, David White Jr., and Trintin White both of Decatur, MI. 3 grandchildren – Draven Marshall, Evan Hach and Laveau Lavender. His sister – Terry (Steven) Kenneman of New Port Richie, FL, and his brothers – Danny White of Paw Paw, MI, and Rick (Theresa) White of South Haven, MI.
Visitation will be on Thursday, January 12, from 4 – 5:30 PM with funeral service beginning at 5:30 with Pastor Steve Starks officiating.
